One glutton, in a recent conversation, said he prefers to be living with hypertension than to be living with diabetes. As far as he’s concerned, hypertension avails him the luxury of eating anything that comes his way, while diabetes limits his food options. Of course, he was talking from the standpoint of ignorance. Because, there is a positive correlation between diet and health, if you eat healthy, you will live healthy. Whether it’s hypertension or diabetes, there are healthy and unhealthy diets. According to nutritionists and health experts, the golden rule is to eat a balanced diet; eat moderately and avoid excesses.

In an overview of diabetes in our previous episodes, we noted that a healthy sugar level is 70-117 mg/dl (milligram per deciliter). Sugar levels from 117-137 mg/dl and above 137mg/dl are prediabetes and diabetes respectively. Based on medical experts’ reports, we affirmed that you can maintain normal blood sugar levels with a healthy diet, regular exercise, tobacco avoidance, and healthy weight. Diabetes

According to experts, diabetes is a genetic disorder, an endocrine problem resulting from the inability of the pancreas in the body to produce enough insulin, or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood sugar. Thus, when we ingest glucose into our body (glucose is required for energy) from what we eat, particularly from carbohydrate food types and the insulin to absorb the glucose is insufficient, the glucose goes into the blood and spikes up the blood sugar resulting in a type 2 diabetes ailment.

Now, here’s the good news! Despite no medication to cure Diabetes, It can be effectively managed, controlled, and moderated by a fiber-rich diet like Goldenvita from the stables of the Golden Penny swallow foods.

 How?

Goldenvita is very rich in fiber. Its fiber richness is three times more than other semolina foods. Experts and medical journals say fiber is not digested in the body so it doesn’t raise blood sugar. Instead, it slows down digestion.

What the fiber-rich Goldenvita does in the body is that it slows down the digestive system so that the absorption of glucose becomes more gradual to prevent sharp spikes in blood sugar. Eating Goldenvita regularly can lead to desirable blood sugar levels throughout the day.
